All great thanks to Stella and Loibert who made it possible for me to travel and cross the ditch. Sadly Brian couldn&#8217;t join us due to work, so I travelled alone with Pixie. I must admit I got worried a little bit how to manage shooting portraits with Pixie along and no one to watch over her but it all turned out manageable and I&#8217;m glad she&#8217;s at the age where she listens more most of the time if I had to tell her stay put or don&#8217;t run off far away from me while I was shooting. I may have myself my own budding assistant soon?\u00a0Maybe. Haha.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16412\" src=\"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/2016-01-25_0002.jpg\" alt=\"2016-01-25_0002\" width=\"2541\" height=\"1712\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16413\" src=\"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/2016-01-25_0003.jpg\" alt=\"2016-01-25_0003\" width=\"2541\" height=\"3786\" \/>Loibert and Stella are not just my close dear friends, they&#8217;re practically family, too. I knew Loibert since we were colleagues back in Cebu and met Stella when we were in Singapore. And I&#8217;m more than happy and grateful they flew me to Auckland to document their happy love story as it unfolded.<\/p>\n<p>Because Auckland&#8217;s weather was such a fickle, one moment it&#8217;s sunny, next thing you know it&#8217;s drizzling,\u00a0we only manage to take a few engagement portraits around town\u00a0not too far away from the city\u00a0harbour, just a day before their civil wedding. Obviously, I&#8217;ve barely scratched Auckland&#8217;s scenic highlights with only 4 days to visit there so yes, that was never enough and you bet I&#8217;m coming back again soon to explore a whole lot more!
