{"id":19329,"date":"2016-09-08T19:46:05","date_gmt":"2016-09-08T09:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/?p=19329"},"modified":"2016-12-05T21:47:35","modified_gmt":"2016-12-05T10:47:35","slug":"darcy-is-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/darcy-is-one\/","title":{"rendered":"darcy is one."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last month, I flew back from Sydney to Singapore (with Pixie) to cover a series of lifestyle portrait sessions and it all stemmed out first from a spontaneous\u00a0idea while chatting with a dear client friend whose engagement portraits (always a favorite) I&#8217;ve photographed in <a href=\"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/26\/sweet-wandering-in-japan-carlo-astrid-arashiyama-kyoto\/\">Japan<\/a>. She was looking around for someone to photograph her daughter&#8217;s first birthday and wished it was still me. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>With\u00a0such\u00a0right timing, plans worked out and so grateful that Mommy Astrid booked the tickets ahead for me. Few months quickly passed and couldn&#8217;t believe I was back to Singapore after we left last year to move here in Sydney. I sure did miss the people around more and some other favourite things (food!!!) except the very humid weather. But grateful for every minute I was there catching up with some friends and family who heartwarmingly shared their time, too.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing some photos from lil darling Darcy&#8217;s 1st birthday held at a lovely rustic place, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dempseyhouse.com\/main\/house\">The House at Dempsey<\/a>. Thanks much again Daddy Carlo and Mommy Astrid for the chance of being part of a meaningful event.
