{"id":8631,"date":"2014-11-10T11:21:17","date_gmt":"2014-11-10T03:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/?p=8631"},"modified":"2014-11-10T11:22:59","modified_gmt":"2014-11-10T03:22:59","slug":"family-baby-portraits-kayenne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/family-baby-portraits-kayenne\/","title":{"rendered":"{family + baby portraits} kayenne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>the idea of shooting newborns is always challenging. there&#8217;s that certain age appropriate enough so it&#8217;s easier to work around with how you want the photos done. i&#8217;ve learned from those who&#8217;ve been doing it that newborns are best photographed when they are less than a week old &#8212; flexible enough and can practically sleep all through out the set up. when they&#8217;re much older though, it&#8217;ll take a whole lot patience and some mood management. not to mention there&#8217;s feeding, diaper changing and napping in between. which are expected so it sure helps that i&#8217;m a mother myself coz it takes one to understand another.<\/p>\n<p>Meet lil Kayenne. she was 3 weeks old when we had this shoot together with the rest of the family. if you remember, I did mommy <a href=\"http:\/\/josephinesicadphotography.com\/blog\/2014\/01\/27\/a-day-in-the-life-bump-love-yap-family\/\">Jerlyn&#8217;s bump shoot<\/a> too.<\/p>\n<p>too cute for words. i have yet to learn more in photographing newborns &#8212; but what I particularly love is taking lifestyle shots where you can capture the family&#8217;s wonder and amazement of every one involved.
