as we ate dinner last night, Pixie just suddenly held up her two arms behind her head and stretched out and crossed her legs on the table, and guess what she said?
“Mama, it’s a nice day!”
Me and Brian burst out laughing (and deep inside I could cry happy tears!) When you hear that from a toddler turning 3yo in a few weeks time, you realize again how simply beautiful life is and so what’s there to really worry about? just like how Pixie sees her world right now.
Yes, you’re right — all that prettiness of sakura right at the backyard where we stayed for a month. Sad we had to leave 3 days ago but we have many wonderful memories to bring with us. Grateful for Virginia (and Giancar, her boyfriend), our beautiful italian host who’s been nothing but very kind. Can you believe that tomorrow marks our 6th week in Sydney? and yeah, 3 days ago, we just moved in finally to our own rented house. It’s been a lil challenging, we had to eat dinner on a yoga mat on our first night coz obviously, we have no furnitures yet. But we managed to get a bed first at least. It’s been only a little tough travelling back and forth by bus and train, looking for furnitures with no choice but opt for expensive delivery charges. Despite that though, i’m very much excited to do some lil home decorating soon and that dream of having a lil home gardening is finally happening too!
We haven’t set up internet at home yet, too so blogging is going to slow down for me again. But here’s a sneak peek of my little trip at Port Macquarie about 2 weekends ago. That little countryside town with her divine beaches stole a piece of my heart away. Thanks to my previous clients from 2014 now turned great friends , Paul & Lanie, who made the whole trip possible.
And oh look at their dogs!!! I fell in love with their bullmastiffs, especially Kenjo (the bigger but younger one).
Hope you all will be having a wonderful week ahead of you!
