Memory’s sake.
That is mostly why people love taking photos ever since. And for me, it’s more than memory itself. For some, a mere snap of a photo will probably just be forgotten after a year or so. Or worse, deleted. That’d be really sad especially if that photo meant the world to you. I recently just read an article titled “The Most Photographed Generation will have no Pictures in 10 Years!” and that “…digital images are no longer important enough to most people to actually keep them in printed form!” —well, that sure reminded me that I must and should print more of our photos now. Coz truly, times are changing and they’re changing too fast it’s hard to catch up sometimes. I’ve only been printing less the past years because we are only renting our home here in Singapore and are not allowed so much to mess up with our walls where I preferred my photos to be mounted. But no more excuses, I’m finishing my overdue photobook projects this year definitely especially photos of my little family’s adventures.
Sharing today Dorothy’s baby bump love session taken last year. Mommy Dorothy and I will no doubt agree that indeed, “Thank heavens for little girls.” 🙂
