the idea of shooting newborns is always challenging. there’s that certain age appropriate enough so it’s easier to work around with how you want the photos done. i’ve learned from those who’ve been doing it that newborns are best photographed when they are less than a week old — flexible enough and can practically sleep all through out the set up. when they’re much older though, it’ll take a whole lot patience and some mood management. not to mention there’s feeding, diaper changing and napping in between. which are expected so it sure helps that i’m a mother myself coz it takes one to understand another.
Meet lil Kayenne. she was 3 weeks old when we had this shoot together with the rest of the family. if you remember, I did mommy Jerlyn’s bump shoot too.
too cute for words. i have yet to learn more in photographing newborns — but what I particularly love is taking lifestyle shots where you can capture the family’s wonder and amazement of every one involved. Every moment taken is too precious.
