Well, not that it matters to anyone, but hey look, I updated my Bio Photo on my website after what? 2 years (might have been more!)? Hah! Clearly, I’ve not been back to my original weight since being pregnant. That’s not really a sad thing. What’s sad is not updating to a new bio photo at all. And I’ve yet to rewrite my ABOUT ME page too (and maybe redesign my blog layout again?). Let’s not start talking yet about how many blogpost dues I have piled up already left from 2013. Ooops. But I’m still nursing a bad cough so there’s that and a million again of excuses. Forgive me please. I’ll try catch up this 2014, promise to self! YES! *wink*
So here. I did envision being fully glammed up at least but here’s exactly me for the meantime. Taken by the husband last November 2013 from our recent autumn trip to Kyoto. It’s just a dream come true to experience autumn for the first time at my most favorite place on earth. So there I decided to put it up on my website to remind me that magical dreamy feeling every time I open my site. And if you are first time visiting here, I hope you don’t mistake me as someone too crazy. You could be right though.
Happy 2nd day of 2014!
I leave you with wonderful words from a fave author:
“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Makeglorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.” – Neil Gaiman
