Well, hello, it’s Spring!

I’m gonna get used to experiencing different seasons now that we live down under. We just started mowing the grasses in backyard yesterday, too– something new for us who never had a backyard to begin with while living in Singapore for 7 years (almost 3 years for Pixie). But it’s fun to learn new things around especially when Pixie loves to get involve most of the time. While I’m learning to mowe, she helps out with her own pink rake that we bought for her. Funny that I remember growing up with a backyard in Cebu where I had my childhood days but guess what? I was the laziest who’d escape chores mostly and only preferred to play in the neighbourhood. Now that I’m raising my own daughter, all I could think now is wishing I remember how to plant veggies and raise chickens like what my own parents used to do for a living. I hope and pray though that Pixie will grow up better than I did. And well, never too late for me to relearn things, too. 🙂

Anyway, sharing some more travel photos I took from a quick weekend trip at Port Macquarie recently in July. It’s located midway between Sydney and Brisbane with a population probably less than 100,000 (?) and surrounded with so much of nature, oooh-divine beaches and driving down sunny roads with zero traffic. So since stepping into that lovely part of NSW, it made me contemplate where to move next should we decide in the distant future to get farther away from Sydney. I blame you for this Lanie, I blame you! Haha 😛

2015-09-01_00012015-09-01_0002I met Paul and Lanie in 2014 when I documented their memorable wedding in Boracay.  When we got news that our move to Sydney was finally happening in 2015, we kept in touch and Lanie emailed me to ask if I could take some photos for them again for a special project they’re working on by the time I arrived in Australia! Straight away, I said YES of course! 🙂

For privacy matters, I won’t be posting the photos from that project though but instead, sharing few photos I took while we visited a nearby beach for their charming dogs to play.

But first, you need to meet my dog soul-mate — Kenjo. Just look at him. Just one stare, and you know it. 🙂 And why dog soul-mate? Coz I just found out we have the same birthdays!!! Oh how i miss you now Kenjo….and yes Keisha, too…and yeah okay, you,too Lanie & Paul! I sure miss ya all! Definitely coming back! Unending thanks again for all your kindness and showing me around Port Macquarie! 🙂
