Adelaide made me feel at home. That’s for sure. I only spent a weekend there though last September so I look forward to explore more when I come back again next time. Grateful that I met Trev and Queenie, who flew me over to document a blissful weekend for them.

I encountered a bit of drama though before I checked in for my 2hr-flight. Apparently, they couldn’t let me hand-carry my ThinkTank rolling camera luggage, which weighed 10kg including my laptop. I was aware that it’s only allowed 7kg all the time, but in all my other local and international flights though before, the other airlines (including a trip to Japan last year) have always reconsidered somehow without me paying anything extra. So, being denied to hand-carry my camera luggage made my heart sank even after I’ve tried to plea in the kindest ways possible. Before I drown myself to panic or pay extra expensive for the excess, I took one deep breath and took out my camera body and all my lenses, then squeezed it all inside my huge hand bag, leaving only some flash and smaller accessories inside the ThinkTank to be checked in. That weirdly worked for the airline, oh don’t ask me why anymore. Just glad eventually the flight was all safe and sound.

Here are some photos from the quick engagement shoot we did around Glenelg, Adelaide. Such a quaint little town, too and I can’t tell you enough how much I fell in love with the sunset there!

Trev and Queenie told me how they’re not naturally good at posing or anything. I assured them most of my clients say the same thing too and there was no need for them to even pose. So we just walked around town, stopped on alleys and took photos as naturally as possible. 🙂
