yesterday, i had to reformat my laptop so yeah, went thru that ordeal no one sure likes to go through. oh the dreadful thought of losing files??? not a pretty thought at all but gladly I had done my latest back up (and i do so regularly since the last time it happened, too).
anyway, I’m finally sharing this set I’ve been wanting to put up, too since we had this shoot just recently in winter. Xian Ying found my photography thru some nifty google search that led to booking a shoot with me while they were visiting Sydney for the very first time as a couple together coming from Singapore. I sure feel more than lucky meeting these two sweet souls coz it’s just always feels like a big miracle to me whenever strangers land into my site and decide to trust me take part of their own journey.
Together with Nick’s parents & relatives, who all joined us too for a road trip to the mountains, it felt easily like I’m just part of the family. And despite the winter cold, we relished on the oh so wonderful sunshiny weather that ended with an oh so glorious sunset.
Blue Mountains just never fails. The magnitude of it’s magnificence can be overwhelming if anyone doesn’t just take it for granted. If I can’t live there, at least we can now conveniently drive up there again if we love to. And oh dear Universe, I’d sure love to shoot a wedding there someday.
Nick & Xianying left me the kindest note after they received the images we took and I felt even more than grateful always.
“My fiancée and I were going on our first trip together and we wanted to do a photoshoot to document this milestone. Through a casual search on Google, we found Josephine. Little were we expecting all the stars to align – we loved the feel of the pictures she took, she has worked with couples from where we came from, our destination happened to be where she resides and the location chosen was one she adores too.
We loved her from the moment we met her and it was so comfortable that it felt like we were meeting an old friend! She had such lovely ideas for where to shoot and a good eye for composition and the photos turned out absolutely stunning. We couldn’t stop thinking about the whole experience for days and we would definitely do this all over again with her 🙂 Thank you Josephine for making this experience so so meaningful and memorable! – N&XY”
