2 hours plane ride from Singapore and 3 hours on the road later, a surprisingly lovely escape away from the crowded city, we arrived in Hua Hin, Bangkok yesterday.

and today i woke up late not being able to catch up the amazing sunrise on time before it peeked out from the horizon. too much exhaustion yesterday. yet soooo worth it because of these…

2015-02-27_0008and believe it or not, I made a record of a balancing act climbing on someone’s back. the lengths i took just to take that perfect frame on my head. i guess a crazy photographer (like me) gotta do what a crazy photographer gotta do! (see my bravery act posted on instagram haha).

i never would have thought my dream shoot location on a vineyard will happen in Bangkok. we left later after 4pm from our hotel to head to this place and i was seriously worried that we might not get there on time with the sun still out. literally cold weakened knees while i silently prayed on my seat in the van.

by the time we arrived, we missed the sun rays coz it already hid behind the mountains but the great soft magical light was still there…and everything fell into place.

Oh Hua Hin, you just pierced thru something in my heart, it’s beckoningly real. And it’s just Day 1 yet of our 4 day trip in this soulful country.

Eternally grateful to Desmond and Alycia, both Singaporeans, who found me and brought me here.
